چکیده
Based on available published and unpublished archival sources of Yugoslav Soviet origin, as well relevant historiographical memoir literature, the paper analyzes historical circumstances motives that led to opening Yugoslav–Soviet trade negotiations in early May 1940. The course talks Moscow, character concluded agreement, scope mutual relations until outbreak Second World War Yugoslavia, April 1941, are highlighted. reactions interested great powers—particularly Germany, Italy Great Britain— economic political rapprochement also presented. contains author’s assessment importance an introduction complete normalization relations.
